The short version
Some links on CouponTested are affiliate links. If you use one and then buy something, the store may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never decide which coupons we publish or how we rank them.
How it works
Some links to retailers on this site carry a tracking identifier. If you follow one and then buy something, the retailer's affiliate programme records the referral and may pay us a commission, usually a small percentage of the order. Your price is identical either way. The commission comes out of the retailer's margin, never out of your total.
What commission does not decide
- Which stores get a page here.
- Which offers appear on that page.
- The order offers are listed in.
- Whether an offer is marked as verified, or as expired.
Plenty of offers on this site earn nothing at all. They are listed because they are relevant to the store page and were entered manually.
How you can tell
Outgoing commercial links are marked with rel="sponsored nofollow" in the page code,
which is the standard signal to search engines and to browser tools that a link is commercial.
You can also avoid affiliate links entirely: note the code from this page, then go to the store
yourself and type it in. It works exactly the same way.
Editorial separation
Retailers cannot buy a listing, a position or a badge. If a paid placement is ever accepted it will be labelled on the page itself, not just mentioned here. Our editorial policy sets out the full standard.
